This volume collects two titles from this early travel series and features many of the fine engraved views and maps for which the work is so highly regarded.The second work (which is actually bound first in this example) includes maps, plans and views of Trier (on the Moselle river and the oldest large city in Germany), Mainz (the capital of the Rhineland-Palatinate) and Cologne, all on the Rhine, and the surrounding area.
