Small rub to fb., less to rear bd. Hinges intact. All pages pink, as printed. Mild soiling to eps. Ink presentation inscription on ft. pastedown from author's son to a Mr. McElroy. Pages clean for the most part. Light tide mark at very top of pages starting at pg. 193 to end (319) spreading to upper outer corner at very end but never reaching text. pp. 319. Mylar cover. The author, "Late Sixth U.S. Cavalry," relates his adventures throughout Texas during the latter half of the 19th century. Very colorful. Rather scarce and sought-after.
