An authoritative record of the lives and works of three distinguished Oxonian antiquaries, by curator of the Ashmolean Museum, William Huddesford (bap. 1732, d. 1772). Despite an evident clarity of understanding regarding his subject, Huddesford rejected an election to the Society of Antiquaries, claiming a lack of necessary antiquarian expertise. ESTC T136038.
