Catalog of suggestions for decorating churches for ecclesiastical holidays and observances, especially Christmas. Includes 32 (of 34) plates, with 9 and 27 absent (appear to have not been bound in), but the usual plate 19 & 20 present. Plates 1 & 2 are actual mounted albumen photographs, plates A,B,C and D are in color. Rust colored cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and black, outer edges of text block tinted red, 8.25" tall, 66 pages plus plates followed by 15 pages of advertising and pricing for the items shown in the plates. Covers rubbed and lightly soiled with additional rubbing to the extremities, hinges internally lightly cracked but secure, text block sound but not firm, pages generally very clean with a thumbprint that looks like it was of printer's ink at the bottom of one pate, name and 1870 date on preliminary blank, light foxing to first few pages.
