First Friends - Paul and Bunty, John and Christine - and Carrington
The Fleece Press, Denby Dale, Huddersfield, W.Yorkshire 1997 - Quarter-cloth (terracotta colour) with a blue Paul Nash pattern paper put together from one of the drawings he made for "Images of War", 1919. Title in black on paper label on spine. One of an edition of 300 copies. Condition: Fine. Grey paper covered slipcase with brown cloth edges is in good condition, with a couple of small watersplashes to the brown cloth (not affecting the book in any way). 175pp. Several tipped-in and colour plates and full page b/w photographic images. This beautifully produced book is based on the letters written by Paul Nash, John Nash, his wife Christine, and Dora Carrington to each other c.1914-1918, "a book about student days, Western Front days and courtship days" [Attributes: Hard Cover]
