B. White in Fleet Street, London 1774 - 8vo, pp xii, 222. 1 Foldout Plan, 14 Plates, 3 Foldout Plates. Recently, sympathetically rebound in half-calf with marbled paper to boards. Blind tooling to the leather on the boards. 5 raised bands to spine picked out with gilt lines. Gilt labels. Gilt tooling to spine panels. The contents are very clean and unmarked, with some slight off-setting from the plates. A fine collector's item. ( Enclosed is a hand-written letter, dated August 1905, from F.F.Giraud, a Faversham Solicitor to a Mr Kingswood which discusses religious practices in the area as affected by a settlement of Walloon immigrants) [Attributes: Hard Cover]
