London. J. Walsh 1740 - Quarto 13x 9 1/4 inches. No title to the first part but a title to the second part and a FINE ENGRAVED PORTRAIT OF CORELLI by H. Howard engraved by Vander Gucht. LEATHER BOUND IN A SPECTACULAR FULL STRAIGHT GRAINED MOROCCO BINDING WITH MUSICAL TOOLING - blind embossed central lozenge with Miss Grant and gilt harp and flower tools symmetrically positioned and a repeated gilt pattern of thick large lyres running around the edges of both boards. Spine also with harp and flower devices and Opere Di Corelli in gilt. Inner silk endpapers also tooled in gilt and inner dentelles. Final leaf of text repaired and some light minor rubbing.
