The Centenary Limited Edition, being one of a proposed total edition of 3,000 sets. Cohen AA1.1-34. *The definitive Churchill, complete as issued, containing all 50 of Churchill's published titles, with a preface by the Baroness Spencer- Churchill, and Editorial Notes by Frederick Woods. A supplementary four volume set of The Collected Essays of Sir Winston Churchill was published separately in 1976. For an account of this publishing venture, see the appendix to Cohen, Bibliography of the Writings of Sir Winston Churchill, Volume I (pp. 1098-1104): 'the print run never exceeded 2,000 copies and only 1,750 sets were ever published. Moreover, it appears that these were only bound as ordered.'
