- London- Country Life 1924 - A first edition three volume set of this work by Percy Macquoid. With 51 coloured plates. Complete in three volumes. Uncommon with dustwrappers in any condition. Percy Macquoid was a theatrical designer, collector and connoisseur of English furniture and the author of many works on the history of English furniture. His most noted work is a four volume set on the history of English furniture split into four distinct Ages up until 1800. Condition: In original green cloth bindings with unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and wear to spines. Spines slightly faded. Dustwrappers sound with chipping, foxing and rubbing. Some instances of loss especially at spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Overall: VERY GOOD in GOOD ONLY dustwrappers. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
