Reeves & Turner, London 1882 - Book condition: near fine, very scarce, title continues: given from his own editions and other authentic sources collated with many manuscripts and with all editions of authority together with his prefaces and notes, his poetical translations and fragments and an appendix of juvenilia, edited by Harry Buxton Forman, beautifully bound in full leather with gilt lettering and accents, insignia of the Order of the Garter stamped on all board with Latin phrase "evil unto him who thinks evil of it" spine features five raised bands, Boards are overall in very nice condition with light scuffing to perimeter and gentle bumping to corners. Light scuffing along shoulders and some board exposed at corners. Possibly beginning to split at tops of shoulders (spine from boards)., gilt to all page edges with illustrations on fore edges, vol. I has inscriptions on ffep and facing page, b/w frontis of Shelley, vol. II has b/w frontis, each title page shows light transfer stain from frontis illustration otherwise interiors near pristine, 572 and 580 pages with index, bindings tight, a very well cared for set in superb condition, 5.5 X 7.5 inches.
