Hollywood, California: Hollywood Hotel, 1920. 1 p. pen and ink on Hotel Hollywood stationery. 1 vols. 8vo. Creased from prior folding. Putting a Wreath on Bob Fitzsimmons' Grave Corbett was an American pugilist who won the heavyweight championship of the world from John L Sullivan in New Orleans in 1892 and lost it to Bob Fitzsimmons in 1897. Reading in part, "Yes I remember the name Michael Madden that's all and my father was Pat Corbett stable keeper. I also remember Levers the boxer and wrestler ... I went out to Fitz [Bob Fitzsimmons] grave one day and put a wreath on it ...".
