Autograph Letter Signed to Frank Nelson Doubleday
Two page letter (both sides of one leaf) Signed ("Frank R. Stockton") to Frank Doubleday, then an editor (and later founder of Doubleday and Company) at Stockton's publisher, Charles Scribner's Sons. Dated 9 September 1886 from Charlottesville, Virginia. Small tears at the folds, a nice, very good example. Stockton writes to Doubleday, providing a summary of the dramtic version of his novel The Late Mrs. Null, presumably used in advertising the book. .
