A holder of eleven sheep-hunting records, Rashid Jamsheed recounts a lifetime of hunting the wild sheep and goats of the world with numerous types bagged in his native Iran. He describes early hunts for urial, Laristan sheep, and Shiraz sheep with red sheep bagged in Iran's Alborz Range, Armenian sheep in northwestern Iran, and a record ibex in western Iran. While hunting in the Pir-Panjal area of the Himalayas, he collected trophy markhor. Jamsheed also describes his successful stalks of Sinaitic ibex in Israel, Alpine ibex and chamois in the Italian Alps, Beceite ibex in Spain, and Sindh ibex in the Kirthar Range, Pakistan. Additionally, he bagged trophy Marco Polo sheep in the Pamirs, Ovis ammon and ibex in Mongolia, and tur in the Caucasus. Switching his focus to North America, he collected desert bighorn in Baja, California, Stone sheep in the Kechika Mountains of British Columbia, Fannin sheep in the Northwest Territories' Glenlyon Mountains, and a Dall ram in Alaska's Wrangell Range. He also includes hunts for bear and elk. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies (#18). Well illustrated with colored photos. Embossed pictorial red cloth in slipcase.
