The page numbering is a little funky, in that it skips around, but the text is complete. Includes half titles, a frontis in two of the volumes, illustrated plates, text illustrations, the pages are printed on laid paper, deckled page edges, folding list of Ossianic Ballads Orally Collected, along with the source listed for each story in the 4 volumes, ie "John MacKinnon, stable boy; John MacKenzie, fisherman, etc.". Covers show bumped corners, one paper spine label absent, hinges cracked, occasional light foxing. TEXT IN GAELIC AND ENGLISH. . Hard Cover. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
