New Castle, VA: Cheap Street, 1983 Lettered "D" of 27 lettered presentation copies signed by Fritz Leiber, Gene Wolfe who wrote the introduction, Alicia Austin who illustrated the book, inscribed by publishers Jan and George O'Neale to the recipient of this book, Ross Voyles, and additionally inscribed by Leiber on the half title page, "For Ross, In the interests of lucky thinking, or whatever, Fritz Leiber 4.7.84." Bound in blue wove paper wrappers with Silver Teachest dust jacket, within the publisher's coarse blue cloth slipcase, and partially wrapped in stiff paper title folder showing just a bit of edge sunning. A fine copy within a fine example of the publisher's slipcase. A very handsome, scarce issue.. Signed. First edition, first printing. Printed wrappers. Illus. by Alicia Austin.
