Spine relined and refurbished, lightly rubbed and marked overall, text-block toned, still a very good copy. Photogravure portrait frontispiece, 22 plates from sketches or photographs, 7 maps and plans of which 3 folding. First edition. "Hutchinson's in-the-scene report offers a detailed account of the many skirmishes and battles which made up this campaign.
