Volume 3 (1868): xxx, 507pp; Frontispiece + Plates 1 to 12. Volume 4 (1868):xx, 444pp, Plates 1 to 9. Volume 5 (1875): xxxiv, 513pp. Maps 1 to 8 + 3 plans. Volume 6 (1880): xviii, 482pp+ frontis sketch map. Volume 7 (1887):xxv, 375pp, Maps 1 to 9. This set has half calf leather bindings, marbled boards, twin leather spine labels with gilt titles, ornate gilt decorative tooling to the spine compartments, marbled end papers and marbled fore-edges. 1863- 1887. Second Edition. Bindings are tight. The external calf leather leather bindings remain bright. There is the usual rubbing to the external corners, top/tail area of the leather spine. Mild fading to the spine leather. Internally core text is clean and bright. Some light occasional foxing to prelims. No previous ownership names. Overall this set is in very good + order.
