A comprehensive plan for the outskirts of Paris at the top right, alphabetical table of two columns left and right margins.The twelve districts are delineated in water colors.Some very tiny spots and without tearing to the lack of the folds in a right margin.His official title was "Engineer Geographer of the King." Despite the fact that he is a prolific geographer, very little is currently known about his life or his career. His life was spent in scientific work. However what is known is an important part of his work was done in collaboration with Louis Charles Desnos (around 1750-1790), bookseller and geographical engineer for globes and spheres of His Danish Majesty."The Louis Brion Plan de la Tour is characterized by a return to the horizontal alignment of the Seine (with oblique meridian) which shows that the evolution of the Paris mapping is not linear."
