Framed Typed Letter Signed as President
Washington, D.C. 1941 - 1 page on White House letterhead, 8.75 x 7 inches, Washington, D.C., April 21, 1941. In this letter, Roosevelt responds to a recommendation for a political job opening, in part: ".I have not yet made my decision as to the vacancy on the Securities and Exchange Commission. I am, however, keeping Mr. Burke in mind. As a matter of fact, I have heard excellent things about him." Three horizontal folds, but still in very good(+) condition. Float-mounted and matted in gray beside a photo of Roosevelt staring intently at the camera; set in a white wooden frame measuring 14.25 x 18 inches. [Attributes: Signed Copy]
