Journal d'un voyage dans la Turquie-d'Asie et la Perse, fait en 1807 et 1808.
Paris Le Normant 1809 - First edition. 2 parts in 1 volume, 8vo., iv, 128, 52pp., printed throughout on pale blue paper, uncut in original blue-grey wrappers (slightly defective along fore-margin and lower outer corner), an excellent copy well preserved in blue morocco-backed foldover box. A very attracive, unsophisticated copy of a rare travel account. In 1807 General de Gardane was sent on an ambassadorial mission from Constantinople to Persia. The journal was written by his brother, Paul Ange, one of the secretaries of the legation.
