Spine a little faded, fore margin of first four or so leaves slightly finger-marked, very faint offsetting. An excellent copy in a chipped and lightly marked jacket. Illustrated in colour throughout. First US edition, first printing. Babar the King, the elephant king's third adventure, was originally published in France in 1933, under the title Le Roi Babar.
