"Trois Baigneuses"
(Paris) 1933 A copper engraving measuring 3 1/2 by 7 3/4 inches on a 9 3/4 by 12 3/4 sheet. From an edition of thirty copies, this is one of only twenty-four actually pulled from the plate. Signed, dated, and numbered in pencil by the artist. The print depicts three nude women on a beach: two are reclining and one is sitting. In the background, rock formations or glaciers rise from the water. Christopher Buckland Wright notes that this design started as an etching and then was made into a copper engraving. In fine condition.
