London W. Pickering 1851 2 volumes. Title pages in red and black; 94 full page engraved plates, including a colored general title to volume I. The plates mostly color-printed and hand-colored; 98 hand-illuminated woodcut intials based on early manuscript exemplars throughout both volumes on almost every leaf of text, and 128 woodcuts in the text of which most are also printed in color. Contemporary dark blue buckram, gilt spine titles, t.e.g. Slight wear and sunning to the buckram else a fine and bright set.
