A solid copy with strong hinges, light water staining to margins of frontis not affecting portrait. Minor offsetting of portrait onto title page. With folding tables of Methodist missions, their location in Lat. Long., date founded etc., and of the Principal Missionary Societies in Great Britain. Marsden, a Methodist missionary, gives extensive details about the running of the missions, and a description of the American preparations to invade Canada in 1814; the account of which Marsden wrote while in New York enroute to returning home to England.
