Letters from Shimane and Kyushu
The Sunward Press, Kyoto 1934 - 71pp. Quarto [27 cm] Mulberry silk boards with a paper title label on the spine and a grey bird design on the front board. In a tan stiff card slipcase with decorative gilt stamped flecks. Very good. Minimal wear to the extremities. There are a couple of labels adhered to the limitation page, and the rear pastedown. The slipcase is in very good condition, with some light wear, minor soiling, and lightly bumped corners. The Letters first appeared in Japan Weekly Mail. This edition gathers them all together and was privately printed in an edition of 100 copies for Dr. Sanki Ichikawa. Cover and internal illustrations by Keisuke Serizawa. Number 79 of 100.
