WEEKEND WITH DEATH.
Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company, [1941]. - First U. S. edition. Signed by the author on the front fly leaf. On the title page Wentworth has written "Published in England as Unlawful Occasions." Light foxing to the front and rear endpapers and to the fore-edges, light wear to cloth at foot of spine and to the fore-edge of the front cover, else a very good copy in a fine, bright dust jacket. Sarah Marlowe reached into her purse and found a secret packet that did not belong to her. How did it get there? The answer became more apparent when the next day she read in the papers of a murder of someone she knew who was tied to the secret packet. An uncommon signature and a sharp copy. [Attributes: Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
