[v]; [ii], 386, index and plate explanation xiv; [vii], 387-717, index v; xii, 611; ix, 619, (pages of Vol. IV, part I, opened but some uncut at top), plates Vol. I - 9; Vol. II prt. I - 30; Vol. II prt. II - 4-13 & 22 of organic remains; Vol. III - 28, many folding and hand-coloured, tables 4 folding (in Vol. II prt. II), maps 1 folding and hand-coloured (in Vol. III), with many text-figs. and tables throughout, 153mm x 248mm (6" x 9.75"), the first three are from the library of O C J S Loverbeck with his armorial bookplate on front end-papers, the last is from the library of T McKenny Hughes with his signature, (Hughes succeeded Sedgwick as Professor of Geology at Cambridge). heads and tails bumped, some corners a little rubbed, covers lightly mottled and used, spines of Vol. III and Vol. IV Part I are slightly faded, some occasional light spotting, browning to Vol. III, otherwise a very fine set. Very scarce. 6.2Kg. This is a heavy item and will incur additional postage, eg. shipping costs to an address in Europe, outside the UK, would be around £19.00.
