The Golden Cockerel Press, London 1948 - VG, Limited ed. In red half morocco over a golden cloth, image and titles in gilt, lightly finger soiled, corners bumped. Internally, bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe with their stamp to base of fpd, no other inscriptions etc, faintest of browning to blank edges and light spotting to blanks as is normal, frontis, engraved titlepage in black and orange ink, 266 pp, [1], an edition of 550, 20 full page B&W plates by Braby plus the titlepage, teg, others uncut. A New translation from the White Book of Rhydderch and the Red Book of Hergest. A lovely production! (Dorothy Paul Braby, 1909-1987, born in London.
