Romanov] Photograph of Olga Nikolaevna Romanova and Xenia Alexandrovna
St. Petersbourg. Newsky 20. 1905. - Photograph mounted on a blind stamped paper board. Albumin photograph 13,5 x 10 cm. Board 18,5 x 13,5 cm. A photograph of Olga Nikolaevna Romanova and Xenia Alexandrovna by the fashionable photographer Helene de Mrosovsky in St. Petersbourg. Olga was the daughter of Tsar Nicholaus II, and Xenia was the sister of the Tsar. Olga was murdered with most of her family in Yekaterinburg in 1918 by the bolsheviks. Xenia survived and fled to the west. The photo is signed by hand "Olga 1905". I have not been able to confirm that it is the signature of Olga Nikolaevna Romanova, but it is very probable. The photographers name and address blind stamped in the paper board. Nice condition. [Attributes: Signed Copy]
