Decorado con los escudos de Inglaterra, Irlanda y Escocia y con una atractiva cartela que incorpora sirenas o ninfas retozando y el escudo de armas real. En muy buen estado. Copperplate, Original hand coloured. A fine seventeenth century map of the British Isles from the engraver and mapseller Frederick de Wit (1630-1706) - "One of the most famous engravers of maps of the second half of the 17th century" (Koeman). Decorated with the arms of England, Ireland and Scotland and an attractive title-piece of frolicking nymphs or mermaids and the royal coat of arms. The condition is very good
