Henry Frowde , Hodder & Stoughton, London 1912 - Is now becoming an Uncommon title in the Original Cloth illustrated covers. Recased Professionally. This one has been resewn and recased using the original cloth and all illustrations. Cecil Aldin's Happy Family comprises the Adventures of Hungry Peter, the Pig; Rufus, the Cat; Humpty & Dumpty, the Rabbits; Rags, the Dog; Master Quack, the Duckling; and Forager, the Puppy. Told by May Byron and Illustrated with many Full-Page Pictures in Colour. There are 6 sections, each having 6 numbered leaves, six title leaves, and six plates. To include 30 Full-Page Colour Plates and Six Double-Page Colour Plates. The covers are a bit rubbed and bumped rubbed to corners, with some cloth staining. The spine has been relaid and strengthened,small chipping loss. Internally there is some scattered foxing mainly to prelims, but sporadic marginal foxing thereafter. The Colour plates are a delight and with no creasing or marking. Now presenting well following the preservation work.
