Europe 1800 - On offer is a sensational late 18th, early 19th century manuscript book where the unidentified author writes a thirteen page treatise on the subject of heraldry, Coats of arms wherein by way of example he illustrates and lists the most important European Royal Houses shields. A beautiful manuscript joined with a short three page manuscript about the Japanese varnishing methods and process. Seventy-one blank pages separate the two subjects in this 9cm x 14.5 cm. worn hard vellum binding slightly detached from the body of the book, internal is in good+ condition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
