- E.& F.N. Spon, London 1865. 8vo. XII + 92 pages + VIII tables + 10 foldable plates. Illustrated in b/w. Publisher's blue, blind-tooled cloth with gilt title and decoration on front cover. Covers with very light signs of use. On the paste down a book plate and an owner's stamp mark in blue, both from "Handels- of Søfartsmuseet paa Kronborg". On the half-title page a red stamp mark stating "Kasseret af Handels- og Søfartsmuseet" (Discarded from "The museum of Trade and Merchant Shipping"). The largest of the foldable plates with some marginal wear to the uncut parts stretching out from the book. In all other regards a very fine and well preserved copy of this very rare book on how to outline and build your own yacht. * An early, but very important book on Yacht building, from the beginning of the Era when privately build and used larger vessels were becoming more and more popular.
