Fine book in a very, very near fine unclipped jacket with just trace micro-touching at edges. Please see scans. O'Brien's acclaimed third novel, considered one of the finest examples of Vietnam War fiction. Ostensibly the story of a soldier going AWOL and deciding to just walk from Vietnam to the lights of Paris, it is, of course, much more.
