The University of Chicago Press, Chicago 1929 - np (ca. 200pp), profusely illustrated in b&w. Full edge gilt with decorative endpapers. In a protective clear acetate dustwrapper. This is the massive 1929 monograph on the noted idiosyncratic Polish-American artist Stanislav Szukalski. An internally most handsome copy whose gilt edges and cover embossing are still bright. The blue buckram covers show some wear and small scratches, mild bumps to the foredge tips, and some grime and slight discoloration along the spine. It has been priced accordingly. PLEASE NOTE: Additional shipping costs are required for this item beyond our standard rates due to its weight and value - we will inform you of the applicable amount at time of purchase.
