The Lost World. Being an account of the recent amazing adventures of Professor George E. Challenger, Lord John Roxton, Professor Summerlee, and Mr. E. D. Malone of the "Daily Gazette".
New York: A.L.Burt [1925] - Scarce early American printing in the desirable pictorial film tie-in jacket featuring a colour still from the movie; Octavo, publisher's hardback cloth in dustwrapper. Both book and jacket are a little used, some small chips and tears. A very good, attractive copy. The 1925 First National Pictures movie 'The Lost World' was the first adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic novel about a land where prehistoric creatures still roam. The film is also notable for a brief appearance from the author himself! [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
