JONATHAN CAPE 1961 - Near fine First Edition, First Impression of THUNDERBALL by Ian Fleming. Published by Jonathan Cape of London 1961. Please see image of the copyright page. Crisp black covered boards with a stamped skeleton hand to the front of the boards. Bright unfaded gilt titles to spine. The book is in great condition with clean boards, sharp corners and no edgewear. The binding is tight and square. The end papers are bright and clean with no bookstore stamps, no inscriptions, no foxing and no bookplates. The crisp internal pages are clean, bright and flat with No stains, No writing, No bent pages, No age toning and No foxing. Even the outside of the page block is bright. Very very tiny corner bump to the rear board. Beautiful crisp, bright, clean copy, appearing as unread. Please see images for details. The original unrestored dust jacket is in beautiful condition with Strong Vibrant colors, still maintaining the blueish-green color (has not faded to the dull green). The near fine jacket dust jacket is a stunning example with No tears, No edgewear but very very slight to the spine tip, No chips, No stains, No rips, No fading, No rubbing, and No foxing.
