Lady of the Lake [Mauchline binding]
Adam and Charles Black, Edinburgh 1865 - n.d. (ca 1865); 339 pages. 11 photographs. Measures 6.75" x 4.5." Text and covers tight; light foxing. Presentation inscription "To Florence Emily Cunningham Scott on her birthday, with much love from her Grandpapa and Grandmama Scott - Stirling June 22nd 1868." A very fine edition, especially for its Mauchline binding (decoupage and highly-lacquered). Original red morocco spine with elaborately gilt tooled compartments. All edges gilt. Inner gilt dentelles.
