Text apparently unread and as clean as when first printed.Printed dedication to Thomas Parker, Lord Macclesfield. Small contemporary ink name to top right hand corner of free front ep. Thomas Hornsby (?) 666.Oxon. Bookplate has been removed from front paste down ep. Page edges tinted red, head page edges slightly age-darkened.Original brown speckled calf binding with five raised bands and five sections containing small gilt ornaments, the top ornament a little damaged, and red label with title. Incipient 5cm crack to lower front spine/front cover hinge, the binding is otherwise in extremely good condition for a book of this age. Retains its green silk marker.
