Aux Editions Cercle d'Art, Paris 1961 - Text by Luis Miguel Dominguín and an essay by Georges Boudaille. One of 150 copies of the Deluxe edition, N 64, complete of the portfolio, all well preserved in the original clam-shell box in creamy cloth. Title page handwritten by Picasso and reproduced in facsimile, illustrated with drawings, washes and sketches from 3 notebooks made by Picasso for this edition, in brilliant color and beautifully reproduced. The portfolio contains: one original lithograph on Arches wove, dated 7.2.61 in plate, and signed in pencil by Picasso. The lithograph is printed on the recto of the 2nd leaf of a sheet folded in two in order to create a protection over the lithograph, with title and justification N 64, on the recto of the opposite page; and a suite of 16 prints in color on Arches wove, reproducing 16 drawings in color from Picasso notebooks. In very good condition. The original lithograph has a small light fold in the bottom left corner, barely noticeable, the clam-shell box worn. Ref: Cramer 112 [Attributes: Hard Cover]
