The Ploughman and Other Poems
Beacon Press 1935 - This small collection of poems was published by Beacon Press in a limited run of 300 numbered copies while White was an undergraduate at King's College, Cambridge. Before this he had only had an even smaller collection of poems published privately by his mother called Thirteen Poems so this was his first commercially printed work. White was 22 years old and later was said to have hated the poetry so much that he burned a suitcase full of this book - which would partly account for it's incredible rarity now. Lacking the dustwrapper but in reasonable overall condition. This is Number 65. Extremely scarce. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
      [Bookseller: Tin Roof Books.]
