Bound by Diboll in red half calf, with a green morocco label, green boards, spine lettered in gilt with gilt raised bands, boards single ruled in gilt, marbled sides and endpapers. Bookplates to the front pastedown of Vol II and the first blan of Vol III. Spines faded, bindings a little scuffed, some occasional minor foxing. An excellent set. 100 engraved plates and black and white illustrations throughout. A handsomely bound set of Shakespeare's works, including his poems and sonnets, with bright plates.
