[2]ff, 178, 8 pp. Bound c.1910 in green goatskin, the covers tooled in gilt with a fillet border and a central panel flanked with four lobed compartments formed by a fillet and gouges and in each corner five flowers, with red goatskin onlaid petals, leafy stems, circles and dots. The spine divided into six panels, lettered in gilt the second and dated at the foot, the others with a red goatskin onlaid flower and leafy stems and dots, the edges of the boards and turn-ins tooled with a dotted fillet, marbled endleaves, top edge gilt, the others untrimmed. With 8pp of advertisements at the end. Tennyson's ink signature, on a piece of card, has been pasted to the front fly-leaf. A very good copy in a most attractive binding which deserves to have been signed. Bookplate of George Zabriskie. [Attributes: First Edition]
