Housed in a red cloth slipcase. A superb copy. Frontispiece and illustrated title page, 38 plates, illustrations throughout. First edition, first impression, the first issue with the drop-head title in rustic lettering to page 1; the "Marquis of Steyne" woodcut on page 336 (later suppressed); and "Mr Pitt" for "Sir Pitt" on page 453.
