Elementa Medicinae et Chirurgiae Forensis
Viennae, Apud Rudolphum Graeffer 1786 - pp: [ix], 206; vignette frontls, head and tail pieces, ornate page numbers. This copy was once held at the library of the Birmingham Medical Institute, and has their library binding [probably late 19th or early 20th century]. This volume is bound as a 8vo (236mm X 140mm) hardcover in red textured cloth, with gilt spine lettering and red speckled text-block edges. VERY GOOD condition. Text block still has generous margins, and I can find only two feint library marks throughout. Binding is sturdy with neat corners, clear spine lettering. Outer front hinge has a 30mm repair to split towards the head of spine. Near-crisp leaves and tight text-block; light foxing to the front and rear-most leaves. Presentation label ffep recto. Overall a nicely preserved copy.
