Published by John Murray, Ablemarle Street, London, 1894. 12mo [5" x 7 3/8"], 403 page with an additional 12 page glossary and 15 page index. The book is in very good antiquarian condition. The boards are well preserved with minor shelf wear and lightly bumped corners. Faint scuffing to the spine. The gilt lettering on the spine is clear and vibrant. Toning to the endpapers. Some areas of discoloration at the bottom fore-edge of the textblock. The textblock is lightly toned and largely clean with a few instances of scattered foxing. A nice copy of this influential book.
