The 16 inserted plates all very detailed and bright. In an onlaid binding of full brown crushed morocco, a.e.g., the spine with gilt titles and panel ornaments of fish with red and green onlays, the covers with an Art Nouveau design of multicolored onlaid lilies above a school of circling fish, the doublures of two separate scenes on tan morocco with multicolored onlays, dentelles of fish and red onlays, watered silk flyleaves.
