JONATHAN CAPE 1954 - First UK edition, Second Impression of LIVE AND LET DIE, by Ian Fleming. The scarce second title in the James Bond series, published by Jonathan Cape LTD, London, 1954. Please see image of the copyright page. The book is in great condition with nice clean black boards, with sharp corners, and no edgewear. Bright, unfaded gilt medallion to the front board, with gilt titles to spine. Thin delicate crease line along spine with a nick to the top. Tight and square binding. Clean end papers with no owner names, no inscriptions and no bookplates. The internal pages are clean with no writing, no handling marks, and no stains. Slight foxing to outside of page block, with some scattered light foxing dots to the internal pages. Please see detailed images. A handsome example of this very scarce title at a great price. The second impression was also printed in the same year as the first printing (just months apart) and is a wonderful alternative to the highly expensive first printing. ADDITIONAL IMAGES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. Please see our Abe store for additional Fleming titles [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
