A little light rubbing, a very good set. "William's observations, though chiefly on the geology of Scotland, range widely, and there is so much that is sound in the generalisation and principles that he derives from them that the work might perhaps be said to constitute the first textbook of geology..." - Challinor p.70 on the first edition of 1789.
