Horace Liveright, New York 1926 - Second Impression. Inscribed by Hart Crane to Jack Taylor, a Woodstock, NY painter. Wear to lower edge and spine lettering is faded. Otherwise a fine copy. Hart Crane's signature is very rare to come across. (He lived only into his early thirties.) He is one of the half a dozen or so great American poets of the twentieth century. Crane spent some happy times in Woodstock and later in Pawling, NY. His choice of a book by Pound as a gift is interesting. A very unique item. Your purchase goes to support a real "bricks and mortar" bookstore in the Catskill region. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
